Loughside Kubs
(Born in 2001 / 2002)
The Kubs consist of children aged 7, and 8 years old. The 8 year olds are also coached on Wednesday nights from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm in the gym of Loughside Recreation Centre, although in the lighter evenings training changes to Grove Park from 6pm to 7pm. Notices of time changes will be shown on the main page and news page. Our aim at Loughside is to let the kids have fun, but also to teach them the skills of the game and slowly develop their confidence. It is at this early age we put the message across that it's not about winning at all costs, but it is the taking part that matters and having fun.
The kids will be coached on dribbling, passing, ball control, and turns which are incorporated in various fun type activities.
This is one of the most important parts of our club as these young kids , if they stick at it, will be the future of our club.
