Loughside Football Club

1. Play for enjoyment, not to please your parents or coach.
2. Play by the laws of the game.
3. Always accept the referee’s decision.
4. Play with control. Do not lose your temper.
5. Play for yourself and your team – your team’s performance will benefit and so will your own.
6. Be a good sport; applaud all good play whether by your team or the opponent.
7. Respect your opponent. Treat all players, as you would like to be treated. Do not “bully” or take advantage of any other players.
8. Cooperate with the coach, team-mates and opponents.
9. Remember that the object of the game is to have fun, improve your skills, and feel good about your own ability
10. At the final whistle shake hands with your opponents and the referee of the match.
11. Always remember that you owe a duty of care to your opponents. Tackle hard but fairly, do not intend to hurt your opponent.
12. Win with humility – lose with dignity.
13. All players must play within their own age group! (Only exception being under 9s).
14. Player will only be available for selection if at a minimum of one nights training that week!
15. Training gear that is provided by the club must be worn to all training sessions!
16.  Coats which are provided must be worn at all times when representing the club.
17.  No other colours other than Loughsides must be worn to matches.

ABUSE OF THESE RULES WILL LEAD TO DISCIPLINARY ACTION BY THE DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE!
